  3. Prepare 2 of small yellow onions, chopped.

  6. Prepare 6-8 oz of Mafalda Pasta (or pasta of your choice).
  7. It's 2 (14.5 oz) of cans Diced Tomatoes (I used Italian Style), drained.
  8. Prepare 8 cups of chicken broth.
  9. It's of Italian Seasoning (I used Oregano).
  10. Prepare of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.
  11. It's of Salt.
  12. Prepare of Black Pepper.
  13. It's of Garlic Pepper (optional).
  14. It's of Onion Powder (optional).
  15. Prepare of Cheese Topping.
  16. You need 8 oz of Ricotta cheese.
  17. Prepare 2 oz of parmesan cheese.
  18. You need 2 oz of shredded Mozzarella.

  1. In a large soup pot sautee the onions & garlic. Add ground beef and sausage, season well with seasonings..
  2. When meat is cooked (drain, if needed) add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, & chicken broth. Turn to high heat until simmering..
  3. Once simmering add pasta and turn heat down to medium. Stir and simmer until noodles are soft, about 8-10 minutes..
  4. Taste the broth!! Add seasonings as needed..
  5. In a separate bowl add cheese ingredients and mix well..
  6. Add cheese mixture to individual bowls, not the pot itself. Enjoy!.
