Ingredients of Lasagna
- Prepare 1/2 lb of lasgna noodles (9 noodles).
- Prepare 1/2 lb of ground italian sausage.
- Prepare 1 of egg (slightly beaten).
- You need 8 oz of ricotta.
- You need 2 cup of mozzarella (shredded).
- It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of black pepper.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of garlic powder.
- You need 1/4 tsp of onion powder.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of italian seasoning.
- Prepare 24 oz of pasta sauce (I enjoy Hunts Traditional).
Lasagna instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Crumble and brown sausage. Stir in pasta sauce and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375*.
- In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg & seasonings.
- Grease a medium baking dish. Add 1/3 cup of sauce to bottom of pan.
- Cover bottom of pan with 3 noodles.
- Cover noodles with 1/3 cheese. Then top with 1/3 sauce.
- Repeat layers 2 more times (noodles, cheese then sauce).
- Top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes.
